Transferring a Student to a New Center

Steps to move a student to a new center for a class they’ve started work in:

If the student has already started a unit, have the student finish the unit they were working on at their previous center.

Teacher of the original class will print a student progress report to send to the new teacher.

Hide future units in the old course to ensure the student does not continue to work in the old classroom, but leave the student enrolled there for the end of the year close out.

At the new school, the teacher will open a new section of the course and enroll the student into that new section. 

Add the new location to the student’s Edmentum account.

The new teacher will then omit (make sure not to lock, hide or exempt) the units that have been completed by the student to ensure the student continues where they left off.
